Resort Information
The 4-star Barceló Maya Grand resort is located along one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mexican Caribbean, which extends 1.25 miles through the heart of the Riviera Maya.
The resort, which has been partially remodeled to meet guests' expectations, now offers a clubhouse featuring an impressive design that includes a reception service, Lounge, Lobby Beach Bar with a smoking terrace, Beach Buffet Restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and gift shops.
It also offers magnificent Premium Level Ocean Front Junior Suites and Premium Level Ocean Front Suites which are fully equipped with the exclusive benefits offered by the Premium Level program.

Junior Suite Ocean Front Premium Level
Measuring 53 square metres, these comfortable and bright Junior Suites offer an excellent, large and fully-equipped space. The fantastic terraces are also the perfect place to enjoy wonderful views and spectacular sunsets over the Riviera Maya.

Booking & FAQs
To be considered part of Temeeka & Trevor’s Wedding Group, you must book through the group rates and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We have negotiated competitive group rates and secured a room block to make this as easy as possible. To participate in all of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Barcelo Maya Grand as part of the wedding group.
A deposit in the amount of $250.00/person is required to reserve your room and book your stay by May 7, 2025.
The deadline for the balance to be paid is July 10, 2025.
You do not need to know all the parties in the room, the travel dates, or the room category; book your room based on what you think you will need and any changes can be made until the balance due date.
Any new bookings or changes requested after the balance due date must be paid for in full upfront even before they are confirmed. Name changes are deemed cancellations of the original booking and new bookings per the hotel; therefore, bookings are nontransferable after the due date of Jul 10, 2025, and will be charged accordingly.
What is the cancellation policy?
Any deposit or payments made towards bookings as part of wedding groups are non-refundable. We suggest you cover your trip with Trip Cancellation insurance.
Is travel insurance available?
Travel Insurance is available and highly recommended. Rates are per person, depending on the cost of the land-only portion of your trip. Travel Insurance can be added at any point; however, in order to receive the full benefit of the travel insurance, you must add it within 24 hours of booking. Otherwise, the "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit will not apply and the only benefits will be for in-travel issues. Please note that once purchased, travel insurance is nonrefundable.
Will I need a passport?
Yes! A passport is needed to fly anywhere internationally - please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date.

Please note, the hotel does not include transportation from/to Cancun Airport to the resort so you will need to book on your own accordingly.
